Cancellations: The Art Center reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. If the class registration is under 5 students, the class may be canceled at the artist’s discretion. We do encourage all instructors to proceed with our workshops even with smaller class registration but cannot guarantee unless we have 5 students. In the case of a cancellation, registered students will be contacted and automatically refunded in full. Cancellation/Withdrawal We confirm class totals with our instructors 2 weeks prior to their class and we are required by contract to pay the instructor that confirmed amount. If you withdraw from a class, cancel registration or do not show up for your workshop, we do not offer a refund for those cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the workshop. Sorry, no exceptions.
Refunds: A full refund will be given for cancellations of workshops up to two weeks before the start date of the workshop. Registrations cancelled two weeks or less before the start date will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of when the registration was made.
Art Refunds: If you purchase art from our artists through this website or at our exhibiting shows, all returns including shipping returns must be processed at the artists discretion and through the artist. You may contact us and we will provide you with the artist’s contact information. Contact us at joy@bocagrandeartcenter.org for questions related to refunds and returns.
Attendance: Registering for a workshop is a commitment to attend all of the days scheduled for that workshop. If a student is unable to attend one or more days, there will be no reduction of the fee for that workshop.
Supplies: Materials and supplies are not included in the class fee. Please request a supply list when you register. In some instances, the workshop instructor will
provide a material kit for a fee. Any material fees will vary per class and are paid separately to each instructor.
BGAC office hours are 9am—4pm.
We open at 9am with workshops beginning at 9:30am.
Workshops end by 3:30pm to give time for cleanup by our 4pm closing time. Reminders will be announced 15 minutes prior to class ending. Please be respectful of these opening and closing hours.
