Still Life Workshop – Two Days

Two day workshop on still life painting focusing on composition, materials and tools, and techniques. Still life is very accessible. Painting still life is a very simple way to begin to explore other venues of painting. Participants will enhance their observation skills and build confidence in other areas such as figure and landscape painting. Materials needed:

Oil Paints: titanium white, raw umber, yellow ochre, cadmium red medium, cadmium yellow, and ivory black. This is known as the Zorn Palette (Anders Zorn) this is a simple but effective palette to learn from.

A lining brush and #3, #4, #5, #6, # 7 & #8 flat paint brushes and a #2 round.
