Sailor’s Valentine

Materials: KIT, $199 (paid directly to instructor)

Sailors Valentine is an octagonal shadow box containing a template with a kaleidoscope design in it. The design calls for a variety of colorful, small shells, twigs, sand, chips of shells and other materials found on the beaches. In the center of the Valentine is usually a large flower (made of shells), a drawing, broach or large shell.

This year Karen has purchased new Sailors Valentine boxes which are included in the kit. Also included are shells, glue and everything else needed for the class. Karen will also have other unique shells to purchase. Of course, bring small shells you have collected along with a centerpiece. Let me emphasize once again you might have a hidden talent for art that can be brought out.
