Lee County – BGAC Art Summer Camp

The Art Center hosts summer art camp for the Lee County summer campers each Monday during June & July . 2 sessions of 8 – 12 yr olds will visit the Art Center galleries to learn a new medium and finish a fun art project. Lisa Truisi, island school instructor teaches part of the summer and BGAC exhibiting artist, Deborah Dawn Cooper istructs the remaining dates. The children learn watercolor, sculpture, paper quilling and more! Although you must be a registered Lee County summer camper to attend, the Art Center offers art classes during our main season November – April with some select classes for children. The Boca Grande Women’s Club contributes grant funds to host art camp and other children’s learning opportunities through the Art Center.
