Marion is a lifelong watercolor artist who has worked in a wide range of media, including printmaking and batik. She has taken art classes at a variety of art centers, having lived in several different states over the years. Since moving to Boca Grande, Marion has gotten involved in the BGAC, volunteering and taking art classes. Although she does some pastel and oil paintings, Marion considers watercolor to be her primary medium, often adding pen & ink to the paintings. Her work focuses mainly on floral compositions, still lifes, and landscapes, which goes along with her love of gardening and being out in nature. She strives to capture moments of quiet observation and appreciation.
