Always having lived in proximity of the ocean, from the North Sea in my native Denmark to the Gulf of Mexico in Florida, the experiences have inspired me in so many ways. I attempt to create personally significant work that communicates my respect for the glass and the process of making what I consider the best in design and workmanship.
At the heart of my glass creations is a desire for honesty, harmony, structure and a strong sense of physicality. I find the physical weight of my designs to be comforting and grounding. I particularly enjoy creating practical items for everyday use.
