Art Education Committee
This committee, formed by combining the former Workshop and Scholarship Committees, partners with the Executive Director to plan, staff, and evaluate all educational initiatives. Its work includes workshops, scholarships, Island School art enrichment programs, and other art opportunities for the Boca Grande community.
Branding Committee:
This committee builds BGAC’s visibility and strengthens community engagement through clear, consistent, and authentic messaging. By sharing our values and vision across all communication channels, it helps attract new members, enrich the experience of current members, and support the long-term success of the Art Center.
Fundraising, Events & Sponsorships Committee:
This committee advances BGAC’s mission by raising funds beyond membership dues and planning events that strengthen our presence in the community. Working closely with the Executive Director, it organizes fundraising activities and community gatherings that support the Art Center’s programs and operations.
Membership Committee:
This committee works with the Executive Director to lead the annual membership renewal drive and to plan events and benefits—partnering with the Fundraising & Events Committee to enhance the overall member experience.
Show Committee:
This committee plans and manages every BGAC exhibition—from scheduling and setup to hanging artwork, staffing, and day-to-day operations. It supports our mission by encouraging local artists and showcasing their work to the community.
